Elegant, concentrated,restraint.
From the Naramata Bench, this clone 95 barrel fermented Chard was then aged on lees in French barrels and puncheons for 10 months (25% new) with partial malolactic fermentation.
This outstanding wine delivers toasted spices and grilled lemon aromas woven with roasted hazelnuts, crushed stone, and yellow apples. It's an elegant Chard showing restraint, balance and deft use of oak. It is slick and creamy and trails flavours of yellow fruit and citrus. Brava.
